Marie Curie: Angry that his mother's career prevents her from attending his school function, A.J. and the Kyros crew travel to Paris, France in 1905 to meet Marie Curie. While learning about Curie's discovery of atomic particles, A.J. learns Curie raised two young daughters while completing the work that made her the first person ever to win Nobel prizes in two different fields. Thomas Edison: Upset after failing his geometry test, Ollie shows A.J. that he has a lot in common with Thomas Edison. The Kyros crew goes back to West Orange, New Jersey in 1891 where Edison explains how he made electricity safe and practical, and then back to 1855 to meet eight-year-old Thomas who was thrown out of school by a teacher who said he was too stupid to learn.
